Our Team Members Share Two Defining Qualities...

A Passion For Music

We are a group that writes, performs and produces music. We’ve spent years interacting with the music industry, and music is an integral part of our lives.

A Passion For The Environment

From an extensive look into the scientific literature, it's apparent to us that the quantity of waste our society produces is unsustainable. We have one planet, and we want to treat it well!

...So What's Our Plan?

We want to establish a constructive dialogue between scientists, sustainability experts, event organisers, artists and everyday listeners – highlighting environmental impacts of waste and how, through collaboration, we can normalise
pro-environmental thinking and accelerate innovations in the music industry and beyond.

For our first project, we’re putting the spotlight on waste at music festivals and getting the dialogue going with:

You
We're taking to the streets...
To see what you know about waste in music festivals and think can be done to improve the situation.

Festivals
We're checking in with festival teams...
To see how pro-environmental innovations are conceived and realised at these events.

Musicians
We’re chatting with artists that head environmental projects...
To find out how these efforts come to life and how musicians are uniquely positioned to drive change in society.

Scientists
We’re interviewing active researchers across the sciences...
To discuss the festival waste problem and bring fresh perspectives, ideas, connections and technologies to the scene.

NGOs
We’re getting the scope on environmental organisations...
To find out how they’ve been contributing to the festival space and facilitating pro-environmental attitudes.
